Love it! Gave me the perfect soil sample to see just how well my liquid aerator worked on my St. Augustine grass.

Good product -- performed exactly as I expected

I live in a condo community where generally there are lovely green lawns. But ours and the ones adjacent to it are terrible. I decided to get a soil test but needed the soil sampler in order to do a good job. The soil is mostly sand and clay. I could never have gotten the number of samples I got without the use of this excellent tool. Because of this tool I got the information about how bad the soil around my house is, and now the homeowners' association is stirring itself to find a solution to this. They have talked about completely replacing the junk soil with rich, healthy soil

Very easy to use and get a nice core sample

I received the product today and this was my first time testing the soil using a soil probe. Overall I would say it’s much easier and renders a much better sample then using a shovel. I would definitely recommend this test probe for anybody wanting to do a core sample on their yard or garden and feel it works very well and overall is a good value for the money.

Despite the scarcity of reviews, I took a chance on this one because it was prime. I used it to take about 30 to 35 cores from around my lawn. It was sturdy. It had no problem penetrating the soil. There were no edges sharp enough to cut my fingers when I scooped the soil out for collection. Nothing to complain about except the price seems a bit high for these in general.
